Review of the PayPal, Pay in 3:

A helpful way to manage bigger purchases

5
I use Paypal as my preferred payment method wherever possible, and pay in 3 is a brilliant tool for allowing me to split larger purchases over 3 months, without having to remember to make the payment manually, and with no interest charged. I've used this feature many times, and have never had any complications. You know upfront the exact amount that will go out and on the specific day, and can check these scheduled payments at any time, for peace of mind. It is also really helpful they send an email a few weeks before the 2nd and 3rd instalments are due as a reminder, so it is never a panic of why has a payment come out. The application takes seconds, and you can have multiple plans open at once. I use it as a way to manage my money, for purchases i could afford to make in one go but want to leave more in my bank account just incase something unexpected pops up. Reviewed on: 7th July 2026
Review of the Vanquis, Credit builder credit card:

My Vanquis credit card was my first form of Credit

5
My Vanquis credit card was the first form of Credit i ever had, I used a comparison site and Vanquis was one of the reccomended options. I was actually turned down by the first 2 companies I applied to, but Vanquis were willing to take me on as a customer with their credit builder card. Building a good credit score is something I'd always heard was a smart thing to do, better to have it and not need it, than vice versa. Managing the card has always been easy and user friendly, and i was pleasantly surprised when my interest rate went down by 10% after demonstrating i was managing it well. The credit limit increases are well paced and sensible, i trust Vanquis as a responsible Lender. This is the one card i wouldn't consider closing, because of the interest rate, credit limit, and being my longest standing Credit account. Reviewed on: 21st May 2026
