Savings by changing insurance companies

We are a retired couple and always used a well known major insurance company and were loyal customers for many many years for insurance our car, buildings and contents insurances. The prices we were paying just seemed to get more expensive as the years went on until I tried a price comparison online and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of savings made by changing to Admiral for the same cover as we had with the company we were with I actually called the company I was with and after 30 years as a customer with no claims all they offered me was a discount of £10.00 over the year so changing to Amazon was a no brainer and when our car insurance is due we would certainly give them first option.
