Unable to make a claim

Leasehold property, so I took out landlords contents insurance. Freehold insures the building. Water leak under floor, caused £2000 worth of damage to laminate floor. However the damage was to the "fixtures", so not covered under "contents". So paying for insurance was a waste of time. I have now taken out Landlords Fixtures and Contents insurance with another provider, for about the same price. I now have the insurance I actually need! Not very helpful!
