I initially used Paypal credit to buy my first MacBook Pro which cost around 4K. This applied an automatic limit of 4K to my PayPal credit account. I used to have no credit score as I'd never borrowed before which meant I was always unable to borrow. But doing this, gradually paying back the laptop through editing work meant I eventually increased my credit score which is now a very good rating, and I use Paypal Credit frequently now while I'm in-between freelance pay checks.
