I was insured with one of the large insurance companies for over 10yrs, I never compared the price but called every time my renewal came in to get the cost down, my son was with the same insurer and last year both our renewal quotes were obscene give no claims had been made, the insurance company blamed the rise in IPT as the reason. My son found bymiles and we both switched and saved a huge amount of money. Since then I have cancelled my wife’s insurance with the same insurance and she is with bymiles, only yesterday I switched my buildings and contents insurance from the same insurance company as the renewal was over £700, I arranged better cover for £302 !
