PayPal Credit is a highly effective

PayPal Credit is a highly effective, free financial tool if and only if you treat it like a strict budgeting calendar. If you use it to split up large purchases and reliably clear the balance before the 0% clock runs out, it's fantastic. However, if you tend to overspend online or miss payment deadlines, the high APR and deferred interest structure can turn it into an expensive debt trap very quickly. Reviewed on: 27th June 2026
