PayPal Credit is a great option if you want flexibility when shopping online, especially because it gives you the choice to pay in 4 months on eligible purchases. It also offers several ways to repay, which makes it convenient and easy to manage. One downside is that the credit application process is not the best, since you may be approved for only a low starting credit limit. Another drawback is the high APR if you do not pay it back within the promotional period, so it is important to stay on top of repayments. PayPal Credit UK offers 0% interest for 4 months on purchases of £99 or more, and its representative APR is 23.9% variable. Overall, it is still very useful to have, especially because so many businesses accept PayPal at checkout, which makes shopping simple and secure. PayPal also says approved customers can use PayPal Credit across millions of online merchants that accept PayPal. I'm happy to have it. Reviewed on: 1st July 2026
