Sneakiy membership fee charge without warning

I signed up several years ago for the nectar credit card and have been very happy with the service until they suddenly charged me £30 annual membership fee this year without warning. Customer service poor. I cancelled account immediately and stopped using the card but they still took a small charge until the cancellation was processed at their end (despite the card no longer valid. Difficult to contact and appalling service

Cheated out of promised incentive, closed account but still owed small amount of money. Chat tells me to phone customer service - took ages to get through but despite promises (twice) still waiting after 3 months. Wouldn't trust at all! Reviewed on: 20th May 2022
