Great credit account, until you try to pay it off

On multiple occasions I've tried to pay off my account but the transaction has taken 3-5 working days to leave my bank account, without showing up on my pending balance or being taken as a pre authorised payment. This has then lead to me not having enough money to pay off my account. When I've tried to complain about this I was just told this is standard and there's nothing that can be done about it Reviewed on: 2nd July 2026
