Why I Like PayPal Credit

5
I’m a big fan of PayPal Credit because it gives me flexibility without encouraging me to spend beyond my means. The biggest advantage is the 0% interest on purchases over £99 if they’re paid off within four months. I treat it as a free, short-term loan that helps spread the cost of larger purchases while keeping my money in my own bank account for longer. As long as I clear the balance before the promotional period ends, it doesn’t cost me a penny in interest. I also like that I can choose whether to pay purchases off immediately or spread them over a few months. If an unexpected expense comes along, I have the option to keep my cash available without having to apply for a new loan or credit card. Another feature I appreciate is that all my eligible purchases are in one place, making it easy to keep track of what I’ve bought and when each promotional period ends. I simply make sure I clear the balance before any interest becomes payable. For me, PayPal Credit is a financial tool rather than a source of extra spending. It lets me buy something when I need it, benefit from interest-free credit, and retain flexibility with my cash flow. Used sensibly and with discipline, it’s one of the most useful financial products I have. Reviewed on: 7th July 2026
