Great Service That Could Do Better

I've been using PayPal for years, and overall I think it's an excellent service that makes online payments quick and hassle-free. I especially love PayPal Credit and Pay in 3, as they allow me to buy more expensive items and spread the cost without paying interest. More recently, I also got the PayPal debit card, which I now use everywhere to collect reward points. My biggest complaint is the customer service. It's incredibly difficult to speak to a real person instead of an AI or automated system, and even when I do manage to start a chat, I rarely get a follow-up. I've contacted support several times with different issues, and after the chat ended, nobody ever came back to me with an answer. What's even more frustrating is that you can't return to the previous conversation, so you have to start all over again with the AI every single time, which is exhausting. I also think some of the promotions could be explained more clearly. Sometimes you only find out afterwards that certain transactions don't qualify for reward points, even though that wasn't obvious from the promotion. Overall, I genuinely love PayPal and use it all the time. However, these issues with customer support and unclear promotions make it difficult for me to fully trust the company.
