My first choice as payment for online purchases

I have been using PayPal for over 26 years now. Its my first choice when paying for something online, simply because PayPal have always had my back. On the odd occasions when a seller has defaulted and either not sent goods, or goods have needed to be returned, if the seller has not then refunded, PayPal have always stepped in. As such if an online seller does not accept PayPal it affects my decision to purchase from them Reviewed on: 8th July 2026
