I like using PayPal on occasion, however, while it's definitely a reliable easy to use service, it usually isn't available for payment plans despite my loyalty and payments in the past. It doesn't seem to scale even a fraction compared to what Klarna does. I've never been able to make a pay in 3 payment over £100. That said, the overall structure of the app is very convenient for digital payments so in that respect I'd be more likely to recommend this app than Klarna or similar apps, simply because it's more well know, trusted, and easy to navigate. If the payment plans would show as an option more often, I'd rate 5 stars. Reviewed on: 8th July 2026
