Save your money for when you need a tow

The most useless and frustrating experience, no proper communication from customer service, car overheated due to thermostat failure - explained it’s not fixable on the road and I need to be towed home which is 1 miles away… they refused and were adamant it needs to be inspected first before towing. Whole initial contact took 40 minutes, another hour for mobile mechanic to arrive basically do nothing and marked the job as resolved… anyways, get some supplies and my diag kit to confirm myself realise i’ve been waiting 30 minutes for a notification to say my ETA for a tow. Release there’s no way to chase without calling AA to be put through requesting a new recovery.. I see why AA is free for some Bank customers because it’s as useful as a chocolate teapot. Oh and mechanics shouldn’t tell people to drive the car home in 34c heat which would likely lead to a warped engine head… save your money and you can use it on a private company when you actually need it.
