Review of the Admiral, Car insurance:

account blocked while abroad, renewal impossible.

My car is in UK, due for renewal 12 August. I am currently in Abu Dhabi for family reasons and Admiral, despite sending me messages telling me my insurance is due, has blocked my account. Maybe because I am abroad, i have no idea. So my car will be uninsured shortly. I have tried everything to contact Admiral, the only possibility is a phone call to UK - which given the time taken to go thru security etc etc will cost a small fortune. They do not have a Whats App facility. I am very upset by this. Reviewed on: 1st August 2026
