Car hire excess insurance for less

Martin Lewis highlights the high cost of car hire insurance if paid for via the rental company. He recommends a number of car excess insurance products and Eversure is one. Process of getting a quote and understanding what is included/excluded was simple taking less than 10minutes. Have not had to use the policy and hope not too but it gives you piece of mind having it in place. Reviewed on: 5th August 2026
