Review of the Monmouthshire Building Society, Savings:

Strong Interest Rates, Respectful of Privacy and Keeping Local Branches Open

Compared to other banking institutions the Monmouthshire Building Society offers very competitive interest rates for general use accounts that do not tie you down to a fixed term. Additionally unlike other banks whom I also hold accounts, the Monmouthshire does not bombarded me with written correspondence and emails which is duly appreciated. Finally and most importantly, whilst I accept the trend of moving to online banking, it frustrates me that resultantly other banks are closing branches. So much so that in my village three major banks have closed over the past three years and the Monmouthshire are the ONLY ones to maintain a commitment to the village and keep branches open to deal with deposits and enquiries .
