Bad experience

Notified Saga of a minor ear infection which was 4 days .into a 5 day treatment with antibiotics and was charged an additional premium of £852 as I was flying in less than 10 days. Asked that cover for this condition be excluded as the infection had almost gone and was told that this was not possible. Choice was pay the additional premium or the policy would be cancelled. I paid as I had little choice as I was flying that day. Will be looking elsewhere when the policy expires. Reviewed on: 26th August 2026
