BEWARE- huge price increases

I have been a customer with morethan pet insurance for the past five years. In July this year, they increased my premium by over £500! When I disputed this, they said there was nothing at all that they could do. I stupidly renewed with them. This month my dog has been very unwell, needing surgery to remove a mammary tumour, and she was spayed at the same time. This was due to vet’s advice because of the increased possibility of further mammary tumours. When informing them of the updated neutering status, they have increased my premium by over £300!! This is a total increase of £800 from last year, and within the space of a month! I reached out to customer services, who couldn’t help. Then made a formal complaint, and again no help. Very very disappointed in the customer care given here. An increase of £800 is totally unacceptable, especially as my dog is only 5! I dread to think what the increase will be next year- rest assured I will NOT be renewing with them. Reviewed on: 27th August 2026
