All Clear are just like car salespeople, so sympathe...

All Clear are just like car salespeople, so sympathetic and competent when selling their product. However, the experience becomes increasingly bitter and unpleasant when making a claim. No reply or acknowledgement of our claim for over three weeks. On trying to follow up, All Clear stated that the claims company had changed. without informing us. When contacted, the “new" claims company stated that they had no knowledge of the claim and no manager available to discuss or help. Stated that a new claim had to be submitted to them despite it having been sent by recorded delivery and received by the previous company. This was disappointing and disgraceful behaviour and a total abdication of All Clear’s legal responsibility for the conduct of their agents as well as the promised service to us. The expensive policy was purchased on the assumption that we were dealing with a reputable and reliable company with a modicum of integrity. I should like to add that the insurance policy cost £2200. We are only claiming £1000 for fares and hotel costs. Had we remained uninsured we would only have lost £1000! The All Clear person asserted 'there has to be a cut off point" thus leaving us in limbo. Nobody at any stage in any of the three companies showed any interest in the fact that we're in our 80s and that it is now well over a year since our aborted trip. It has been tedious, frustrating and time consuming to drag the required proofs out of BA and Iberia in particular. The bureaucracies involved make Kafka's experiences fade into insignificance. All Clear is totally responsible for the change in claims companies and for the competent and safe transfer of records and our personal and medical data between them Wretched disappointing experience.
