Review of the Aviva, Pension:

Absolutely terrible experience with this company

I have a company Pension with Aviva and because I retired over a year ago I decided to take the TFC and set up a drawdown account also with Aviva. I was given a tree to six week time frame but was told that because I had sent everything to them quickly it should be sorted in a couple of weeks. As I was going abroad around 5 weeks later I thought that should be ok. I had already had a bad experience with SJP and was hoping Aviva would be better. I was wrong if anything Aviva are worse, I am now seven weeks waiting with no response from Aviva. I have complained but they have not sent any confirmation of my complaint, no atttempt to resolve and no updated or apologies. Terrible service and after speaking with their complaint department, it’s completely their fault as they were incapable of filling the paperwork out correctly? Reviewed on: 8th September 2026
