We applied for a Retirement Interest Only mortgage through an Intermediary. The process was fairly slow as the underwriter kept asking for things already provided. This was solved by our Intermediary speaking to her and discovering there had been a system problem making it difficult to see alm the uploaded documents. We eventually got the offer. We then had to look for a new property due to work needed to the previous one. The offer for our new property was issued the day of valuation seamlessly. Reviewed on: 9th September 2026
