My son's black box insurance was cancelled following...

1
My son's black box insurance was cancelled following a RED driving rating. BUT the red rating was from 11th - 18th Aug and the cancelation email was on 31st Aug. On their policy and emails they state they MAY cancel after a RED. But now on their emails today, after I have gone back on each of their emails they are now saying "they WILL" cancel, even though its not on any policy documents. My son then got an email saying his driving had improved to Amber. They emailed the cancelation to him, but did not put any letter on the online portal, just an email to his gmail. He was on military exercise for two weeks and didnt see any of this. I found out by seeing a refund on my credit card account. They will not back down, even though after the cancellation date they sent the weekly email regarding driving rate and that the app didn't seem to be active. But QMH do not accept that sending emails after the threat of cancellation - 7 days notice - that they have overridden the cancellation by confirming the policy was still active. They did not in this email say that they policy was still going to be cancelled. They are now stating that the policy WILL be cancelled, even though the literature states it MAY be cancelled. There's no leeway and even though they have breach their contractual conditions, they aren't listening. From their policy "If you have a red driving week, we can cancel your policy, without further warnings, providing you with 7 days’ notice. Alternatively, we might decide to send you a further warning and follow up reminders which will include further tips on how to improve your driving. If you fail to improve your driving as requested, within the time specified, your policy will be cancelled with 7 days’ notice. THERE IS NO TIME SPECIFIED - I CANT SEE IT. If you have two consecutive red weeks or three separate red weeks in a three-month period, we will cancel your policy giving you Seven days’ notice to your last known postal and or email address."
