If you're someone that is on top of your finances then Chip will work best if you pause saves then transfer your savings manually on payday! If you're not #getchip then create a savings goal and let the algorithm calculate how much it thinks you can afford to save. You can adjust the goal amount, split the automatic saves between a number of goals, set a goal date, change the save level to one that suits you or now with dynamic saves you can change how much is saved.
