Review of the Swinton Insurance, Car insurance:

Dreadful

Terrible customer service. Their live agents are rude and will use gaslight techniques. Had a successful claim and their underwriter are AXA. Made the claim through Swinton, 6 months later Swinton said I didn’t make a claim as no record, and accused me of either not reporting a claim or claiming directly with AXA. I said it is not possible as I don’t even have AXA contact number and I called using Swinton’s number (which went through multiple options and redirections) Anyway long story short, there is communication problem within their system. I chose not to renew with them. Right now they are aggressively trying to make me renew. Too late, I have gone with a better value and higher tier cover ( at cheaper quote than them) Reviewed on: 26th September 2026
