Review of the Vernon Building Society, Mortgages:

Great from start to finish

We had a mortgage arranged with Vernon and from start to finish they were great. The process was thorough but unhurried while we had our initial phone call to gather all the information. Our mortgage advisor explained everything well and email communication following that was good. A suitable mortgage was found and then secured for us. When we came to the funds being released and the solicitors had made an error, being able to get through on the phone and talk to someone who was knowledgeable and helped resolve the situation was great. All in all a very smooth process and we would highly recommend Vernon. Reviewed on: 2nd October 2026
