Overall a very positive experience with Mansfield

Overall a very positive experience with Mansfield Building Society. We managed to secure a mortgage even though I was weeks into a new job, and our credit history was only about average. We really appreciated the human element to their decision making progress, even if it did delay the process by some time. But we understand the checks that needed to be made, and they understood our particular situation. I would highly recommend Mansfield to anyone looking to secure a mortgage and may be struggling with main high street lenders. Reviewed on: 7th October 2026
