Refund nonsense

I recently cancelled my car insurance with Sheila's Wheels after selling my car. I understood and accepted the cancellation fee — no issue there, that's standard practice. The real problem was with the refund process. My original payment card had been cancelled after being cloned and replaced, and I explained this clearly to the advisor on the phone. Despite that, they refused to offer any alternative payment method, insisting the refund could only go to a card that no longer exists. Now I'm left waiting five days for a payment that is guaranteed to fail, after which I'll have to call back and navigate their automated phone system all over again. It's an unnecessary waste of time for something that should have been simple to resolve, and the lack of flexibility or problem-solving from the team I spoke to was genuinely disappointing.
