Appalling Claims Management Team

Extremely disappointing experience with Esure. Over a year of poor communication, unnecessary delays, conflicting information and a complete lack of accountability. Despite having dashcam footage and independent witness evidence, their Claims and Recoveries Team failed to bring the matter to a conclusion within a reasonable timeframe. I constantly had to chase updates and question delays, and I genuinely doubt my claim would have been resolved without my repeated intervention. I submitted a formal complaint, which Esure upheld in full, acknowledging significant failures in communication and recovery handling. Yet nothing improved. Emails continued to go unanswered, and even after the recovery was successfully completed, Esure failed to inform me. I had to find out through their appointed solicitors. It is embarrassing that an established insurance company cannot provide basic proactive communication or manage a claim without the customer constantly chasing them. Absolutely unacceptable service. I have completely lost confidence in Esure and would not recommend them. Reviewed on: 11th October 2026
