Review of the Acorn Insurance, Car insurance:

DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY TOO MANY BAD REVIEWS

i was asked to provide further information on my car insurance which i have had since april 26 - i had to submit different documents - wage slip with company name on it utility bill - written proof of no claims - copy of 2 pages on log book - driving liscense proof o f purchase of policy (website tel number) em how am i supposed to get all this information especially which website i got the insurance from as there are so many sites out there - had to submit before 18/10/26 at 11.58 pm - submitted documents which i thought was right as been driving for 35 years and never been asked to provide documents further down the line - no explanation as to why then boom - got an email today in the afternoon when i was busy at work then had a meeting drove my car and when i parked it looked at my emails as had a busy day and my insurance had been cancelled from 18th october at 11.59pm- however when i signed into the portal yesterday it stated that i am covered - now they are demanding the rest of the money over £300 - i would not touch this company if it was the only one on earth i woukld rather get public transport so i still owe them money and have to look for another insurance company with no explanation and cant call them till the morning as they close at 5.30 and the chats are robots - Reviewed on: 20th October 2026
