Had appointment with a financial advisor about inves...

Had appointment with a financial advisor about investing more money and arrived about 10 minutes early. Two men were behind the counter shuffling some files. There were no other customers and the staff ignored me standing there - no acknowledgment of my presence despite the bing bong sounding when entering. A little nod or “be with you in a minute “ would have sufficed but nothing. After a couple of minutes they called me forward to the counter, I said I had an appointment they said that was too early (they were clearly rushed off their feet - not) and the person I had booked to had been changed. I wasn’t informed of the change so was not happy on 2 counts- 1 being told of the change of advisor and 2 being told to go away and come back later. Oh and the treatment on arrival. I walked out fuming, got back to the car park and drove to another appointment I had elsewhere. En route my phone rang and it was the advisor asking where I was. I was still angry so rather than tell him the problem and maybe lose my cool I did the best thing and hung up. Reviewed on: 26th October 2026
