Review of the Triodos Bank, Current account:

Only legitimate option for sustainability conscious customers

As soon as Triodos launched its current account just over 2 years ago I signed up, as I was fed up with my lifelong bank, Barclays, continuing to fund fracking. With climate change becoming ever more apparent and social inequality growing in the UK, investing with an ethical bank is one of the big ways we can influence positive change as consumers, and Triodos is up-front and open about who their money funds, from large companies to small start-ups and community projects all trying to build a better world. I have been very happy with the ease of use and security features linked to the current account, and the £3 monthly fee is worth it to know I am not causing harm with my money.
