Agency closure disenfranchised older customers

My mum is in her 90s and liked to go into a local branch with her passbook. Unfortunately it was an agency, and upon closure of agencies a few years ago, she was diverted to the nearest branch, 30 miles and several buses away. As a result of this she has now lost her financial independence and relies on us to manage her money. Older customers never seem to figure in banking “progress”. Reviewed on: 31st March 2023

I was recommended to SBS and was very pleased with the clear and straightforward responses and information received.
