Cannot recommend Monzo more

Monzo makes everything so easy and it really is better with friends. When I lived with flatmates at uni, we split everything on Monzo. I set up pots and didn’t have to think about saving money for bills and my flatmates could pay me back so easily. I never want to use another bank again. Reviewed on: 13th April 2021

What Banks Need to be Afraid of

Monzo amazed me back when I signed up for the beta in 2016, and they still amaze me now. After dealing with a few awful banks that made half-assed apps to tick corporate boxes, Monzo has exceeded expectations of what a bank app can do. They are constantly developing, listening to their users and taking on feedback. Their app and account is so simple and intuitive, yet can do so much more than any other bank I've used. I'm so happy with my Monzo current account that I try to convince all my friends and family to get it (which can get kind of annoying for them but I'm just trying to make their lives easier). I've even chosen to write my essay for university on how Monzo is challenging legacy banks with their push for transparency and friendly communication. Monzo deserves every accolade they receive.
