Efficient, friendly, modern banking

Everything about Starling feels customer-first, from the simplicity of opening an account, to the packaging of the card (which was dare I say it - fun to open!), to the ease of contacting customer support, and the frictionless way in which I can control my cards, payments and spending. That's without even mentioning the features of the financial product! Zero percent on spending abroad has been revolutionary for me! I never hesitate to recommend Starling to everyone and anyone - I've switched around a lot of banks in the past 5 years, and Starling is head and shoulders above the rest. Banking made easy

From the moment I set up my Starling account, the experience has stood out as unlike any bank I've ever been with before. The user experience is so streamlined it almost feels too easy! And if you every have any queries, you can get hold of someone in a flash via their excellent app. The account itself provides some great functionality, including savings pots, and unparalleled features such as fee-free (and hassle-free) foreign currency transactions, which is what initially attracted me to them. I know this probably sounds like it was written by an employee, but I can assure you I just love this bank! Reviewed on: 19th January 2020
