Simple, easy to use app, no BS

Since the pandemic (and even prior) I don’t travel huge volumes of miles. I have a car that’s otherwise reasonably expensive to insure and some of the quotes were £1k p/a. The pricing model really suits my circumstances by paying a chunk up front then per mile based on what I actually drive. The app is so easy to use and the notifications don’t pester you. I just renewed this year and the process was the best I’ve experienced in my 20 years of driving and insurance. The quote was better than the previous year, so no need to start shopping around or negotiating on the phone. I’ve never had to call either, the chat function I’ve used once and was really efficient. Unless I needed to do business miles in the future, I’ll be sticking with By Miles. Keep up the good work! Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

The best choice for me, easily

My policy with By Miles was way more cost efficient for me than 100% of all the other results on comparison sites. I care about doing the right thing for the environment and a policy that’s more ‘pay as you go’ suits my lifestyle as my car use can be really up and down, especially at the moment. I’ve already recommended them to friends and family and it’s only my first month. The app feels like a modern approach to insurance and the fact it’s a tracker adds a layer of reassurance. Saving without even realising!

I’m a terrible saver, I spend what I have, I make excuses not to, I didn’t have a savings account, and I never made time to do it. Plum just does it for me, and I don’t even notice. It really is as simple as that. No gimmicks, balance reminders daily, the ability to flex your mood on saving and best of all I don’t have to waste time and energy organising it.
