Much better service from NatWest

NatWest has improved its reputation and are definitely fighting for top spot in all awards. I feel this has been vastly improved and I cannot fault the service I receive from a bank with high street branches this means that NatWest have listened to customers like me and done all they can to keep there customers. Great bank and security is number 1

Monzo seems to be a top class bank and the customer service is amazing I have rated them 5 stars every year I’ve been with them. Security is also very tight and okay the temporary account hold can be hard work but once your in contact with the customer service and provide details of whatever it was that flagged the account. I’ve only had this happen once when a large amount was paid in to my account. One little niggle is charge backs are hard work at times when paying for something which didn’t arrive and then having to go through the process of providing screen shots of the invoice etc and emails to the merchant. The chargebacks take a lot longer than a high street bank but of course Monzo do not have branches and all is done online. Current accounts, joint current accounts and investments are good. The savings pots are a good idea but interest rates aren’t huge but this is expanding a lot. Reviewed on: 24th January 2020
