Great for some things, less for others

The account is fantastic for my pay - I work freelance for a company in China and nationwide works perfectly with the bank the company uses, so while my colleagues all get charged about £10 by their bank every month when they get paid I get charged £0! Fantastic!! On the other hand I’ve had my account since I was a kid - obviously it was called a junior account or whatever before but the point is my parents opened it when I was very small/a baby. At 20 years old I’d never had a credit card and thought it’d be convenient for travelling. Despite meeting the minimum criteria I was denied one. I was told that the staff don’t get access to the reason and that a letter explaining it would be posted to me - no such letter ever arrived!!! As a loyal customer I had hoped for slightly better treatment so I didn’t just feel ignored cos I’m not rich - I have a job and met the minimum income requirements. Reviewed on: 28th January 2020

It works perfectly in the U.K. and you have a user friendly app for total control over it. Where it really shines though is travel- you can set it to automatically convert currency when it reaches a certain rate so you get the best deal. It’s so much more convenient than trying to get foreign cash! Reviewed on: 28th January 2020
