Review of the Lloyds Bank, Cash ISA:

Very Handy

3
I took out a cash ISA to coincide with my savings account for planning wedding funds. It didnt offer the best interest rate for cash ISA's. However, it was really simple to open, had a start fee of £1 and was very handy in storing and saving the wedding funds. Reviewed on: 6th September 2016

Low interest

3
I recently got married and in the run up to the wedding i needed multiple savings accounts to keep on track of normal savings, wedding savings etc. Club lloyds offer a great monthly saver with a interest rate of 3% currently, was previously 4%. However, due to me having some of the cash in a lump sum upfront, this wasn't available to me. Instead the best rate was a 0.25% saver which was on the low side. Reviewed on: 6th September 2016

Renewed fixed rate

4
I have just came to the end of my previous fixed deal and have renewed on a new 2 year fixed deal with RBS. They offered the best deal for my LTV on the market. I have had no problems with RBS. The only problems i have had is even though they have an online portal you are limited to what you can complete online. I tried to change the date of my monthly payments but it required a phone call to confirm it. It seems that whatever you do online needs confirming manually by post or phone before it is applied. Excellent Features

5
Clearscore have added a timeline feature. This allows you to clearly see all your debts, payments and additions in a nice simple graph. This makes it simple to get a good look at my finances over a period of time. Reviewed on: 30th June 2016
Review of the Hastings Direct, Car Insurance:

Awful renewal price.

1
I have been with hastings direct for the last few years. Nothing had changed between my last insurance and the new renewal insurance other then my no claims had increased another year. The automatic renewal quote came back at nearly 50% extra which made no sense. More annoyingly when i compared prices on the comparison websites, hastings direct came back at nearly £230 cheaper then the renewal price. They obvious are hoping some of their customers fail to look elsewhere and get stung with a ridiculous high price. I have moved my car insurance elsewhere. Reviewed on: 22nd June 2016
