Band of Cheats!

BAND OF CHEATS!!!!. They sent us an email to decide if we want to reinvest the money in a new bond after the old bond matures. We replied within the required time and asked to reinvest in new bond but they still invested out money in no -interest 7 day account ... . The interest that banks pay is now minuscule but UTB still try to cheat you as much as they can . Stay away!!! and move your money elsewhere.I will be making a complaint to the ombudsman and requesting repayment of the stolen interest... Reviewed on: 6th May 2020

I note from a subsequent review that the matter was resolved and the funds were returned as requested, and I can confirm that we have made various changes to our processes since then to ensure a smoother experience for our customers.
