I LOVE LMCU

I love LMCU above all other banks, Indeedy, I owe them much grateful thanks, Bankrupt and jobless with mental health issues, (Now is the time to reach for the tissues!) I faced rejection but I swallowed that pill, And went to their branch in Denmark Hill. Such a small space but size doesn't matter, The staff were all smiling, enjoying the patter Of working-class people in need of a loan: Good terms, low interest, not blood from a stone! Young single mums with children in tow, Old folk from the manor, some whom I know, Black people, brown people, red, yellow and white, All in it together, all sharing the plight Of long hours, low income and soul-killing work, Or the unemployed hapless like Virginia Burke! A loan I obtained, it was simple and quick, No hoops to jump through, no carrot and stick, Monthly repayments that I could afford, No grasping usury here, thank the Lord! The customer service at LMCU, Is better than most, in my humble view, Efficient and friendly, patient, polite, (I refer now to the Walworth Road site) A smile as they serve me, and sometimes a laugh, I get on quite well with the LMCU staff. No problem's too big, no detail too small, If I can't go in person I can e-mail or call. Not once have I ever had cause to complain, I'd recommend them again and again. Perchance this pandemic will make the world think, About how we live life, and how close to the brink Of man-made destruction we are at this time, How we damage our planet, commit crime after crime Against Nature, each other, for the sake of hard cash, So stupid, so greedy, so mindlessly rash. The Earth is our home but the Dollar its axis, The capitalist system - it never relaxes. So thank you, LMCU, thank you for caring For Us, the Invisible, and thank you for sharing.
