Credit unions are about people helping other people

Our credit union was started shortly after the Brixton Riots in the 1990's. We are a faith based credit union called Lewisham Plus and we were trained and shown the ropes by directors and staff from LMCU. our credit unions are very similar and we work hard to keep on board all our partners (members are our most important asset). I was a board member of my CU in Lewisham and I am now a manager at LPCU. We would not have been as successful without the long term help, support and friendship of London Mutual and there staff. I am proud to be one of their members and will continue to remain part of the LMCU community for years to come. Reviewed on: 25th June 2020
