Put me on the right track

I was in a bad place with debt and having expectations from my family to move into my own flat but i was embarrassed to tell them I couldn’t afford it as i got myself into debt. I had no one to turn to as my debts were high and i started to worry. I then came across step change and when i rang them i was so anxious and felt ashamed to tell them of my debts but every advisor i had spoken too were so friendly professional and caring. They managed to set up a DMP for me which took less than a hour going through the creditors and what i owed then a budget of what my outgoings to live were. When this was all set up they contacted the creditors with the payment they would receive monthly. I had no hassle what so ever they also update you every month with a news letter etc. Only today I received a email to say i am nearly debt free and how good to see that and the feeling is amazing. They really helped me get my life back on track and this is not the end either they help you keep on track after your dmp finishes to make sure that you don’t fall into that hole again.
