Admitting I had a problem was the hard part

When my bank put me in touch with StepChange, I was terrified of both admitting that I had a problem and having to ask for help. I needn't have worried because everyone was kind and understanding. I haven't looked back since that day. Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025

Very helpful and understanding

StepChange don't judge, they don't make you feel bad, they just offer good advice, sort everything out for you and they offer continuing advice. I felt like a failure when I first rang them but it was such a relief. I wish I'd contacted them much sooner as it would have saved me months of worry. Reviewed on: 18th June 2021
