Changed my life

My husband and I managed to get ourselves into severe debt. We were living on credit cards and the available balance was almost gone. We were both stressed, I wasn’t sleeping, he was constantly snapping and I became very depressed. StepChange was our saviour. Two things stick in my mind. The first was being told to go out and do a decent food shop and to forget the bills as they had everything in hand. The second was reassurance we could call them as many times as we liked - whether it was because we were worried about a letter we’d received or if our circumstances ever changed - we were not to worry, they had our back.
