Step Change helped me to take control of my debts, and to take control of my life again.

I was over £12,000 in debt when I first contacted StepChange. They clearly explained what was possible and what they could do to help me. They explained the choices available to me and helped me choose the right one based on my situation. At the end of my call, I was no longer overwhelmed with worry or fear about how I would be able to manage my debts. I felt at peace, and also felt a sense of relief. They were always compassionate and understanding, and made me feel like I was talking to a friend.
