PayPal enables me to buy online safely & securely.

PayPal enables me to buy online safely & securely. If I see an online company offers PayPal, I feel it has been scrutinised & is more trustworthy. PayPal is also good for sudden & unexpected purchases, such as an appliance breaking down or funding an overseas ticket because of bereavement! PayPal is my safety net. Reviewed on: 9th June 2024

My Go-To Default

I love PayPal because I can trust that my card details won't be stolen if I am buying stuff from an unknown website. Having a PayPal option to pay with also reassures me that the website is legit. I love the different options to pay with Paypal as well. I usually use Paypal credit and make sure I clear off my debt so that I don't pay interest. I have also used the pay-in-three options which is handy for budgeting, or getting something I need now without having to fork out for it all at once. Finally, if I am buying a larger purchase, for instance, I recently had to buy an unexpected ticket to attend a funeral overseas, Paypal has ben a life saver. I have used Paypal since I used to first lived abroad and run a business, it was my assurance that I wasn't going to get scammed when I shopped for the store. Now, I am back in the U.K and it continues to be my go-to option! At times when I have been broke, being able to use Paypal to pay companies like Ocado, Iceland and Waitrose really got me out of difficult spots! My friend's husband was also able to invoice me for a house removal and again, this was a life saver, as it enabled me to move from one city to the next when I was completely broke! By doing that, I was able to secure a job and sort out my finances! Finally, some companies give you credit options (usually interest free) for large purchases, like the Apple Store, which I have used... all of this makes managing my finances easier. Awesome

The best insurance company I’ve had in 30 years! The initial payment is low & then you only pay for the miles you drive! The app is really clear & easy to understand & the By Miles team always let you know in advance what your payment will be. This company was recommended by the Martin Lewis website & it is the best recommendation ever! I am into my second year of using By Miles & intend to continue using them. Best Insurance Company EVER!

This company has been FAB! It was recommended by the Martin Lewis website which gave me reassurance. The initial payment was at least £200 cheaper than the nearest rival, including the company I had been using the previous year !!! I LOVE the monthly statements & the app which shows what I have used and how much I owe. As I am a "light" driver this has never been more than £10 a month! The company also took the trouble to send reassuring messages during Covid. What can I say? I have been driving for 30 years and this has been easily the BEST company to have insurance with EVER!
