Moneyfarm - Seamless Start to Investing

The setup and ease of setting up a stocks and shares ISA with Moneyfarm was great, I like the questionnaire which reduces the appropriate portfolio based on your attitudes to risk and most of all, my ISA has grown as a result of those choices Reviewed on: 30th January 2024

Insurance.... That I enjoyed signing up to?!?!

Having seen lots of people I follow on social media talk about laka and how different it was compared to stereotypical insurance.... curiousity killed the cat and i thought, how different could it be? Boy was i wrong! Lowest average price per month, community feel (for buying insurance - crazy!) and i didn’t feel like I was settling for the best of a bad bunch. The process was so easy to sign up to and I didn’t even realise I could also insure my accessories and even clothing! On top of this, a rolling contract that I can leave anytime if I find a cheaper provider (fat chance, but it’s nice to have the option), ability to change my policy and update it daily rather than monthly if I buy new gear. It honestly feels like they’ve thought of everything - you even get discount on popular cycling brands, the cherry on top of the cake! A slick website with online chat facilities that makes the process simple, smooth and easy to follow and I can far and away tell you that you will be impressed with Laka. Now, they say you only know how good your insurance is when you need to claim which fortunately I haven’t had to do yet but seeing all the reviews and the fact the total value you insure does not depreciate, I couldn’t be more sure that I’d be very satisfied with the outcome if I had to claim.
