Proved their worth in Lockdown with a free extra I'd never thought I'd need

In Wales, we had a severe lockdown, limited eventually to travel within a 5 mile radius of home, which if you live in a rural area nothing at all. North Wales Police were actively fining people for 'unessential travel' over 10 miles for what I would have thought essential reasons, and my vet is 25 miles away. My daft dog fell & injured her hip & shoulder & after a few days was still stiff & sore. So an online free video consultation through Bought By Many and yes, the vet advised she did indeed need to be seen by my own vet, and explained what about her gait made her think that. My vet in Mochdre is over 25 miles away from me. But armed with this knowledge, I had the 'evidence' of the need to travel and did so. Free elements of an insurance which you discount as 'not applicable' to you, come into play if your circumstances change in a way no one anticipates but this 'feature' was added, for free, and unexpectedly, half way through my policy year! So yes, delighted Bought by Many who also insure Mixed Breeds of no guessable heritage, like my Romanian Street Princess, and something which more and more insurers are refusing to do.
