Review of the Marmalade, Specialist car insurance:

Great concept

I've been with marmalade for just over a year now, originally as a learner, now as a full license holder on my parents car. We chose marmalade because it was the cheapest offer we found, but also there were no time limits which meant my policy wouldn't have any effect on my parents, if they needed to use the car when working night shifts. However until I was switched from the blackbox to the tag a couple of weeks ago, I did have quite a few issues with not all of my journeys registering, which caused a lot of anxiety over whether I was fully insured or not. Since using the new tag and app, these issues seem to have been solved, so I would be happy to recommend - aslong as it continues to work as it should Reviewed on: 13th August 2020
